Our Native Gardens Consultation service helps schools, early learning centres, community organisations, and workplaces create thriving native gardens that connect people to Country, culture, and community.
We work directly with the staff member or organiser leading your garden project to design a space that is sustainable, educational, and culturally meaningful. Local native gardens are vital to our ecosystems — they restore biodiversity, attract native wildlife, and bring people together to care for the land.
And yes, we absolutely love, love, love talking trees!
About the Service
During the consultation, our team provides both practical gardening advice and First Nations knowledge about local native plants — including their traditional uses for food, medicine, tools, and ceremony.
We share cultural information that can be turned into interpretive signage or educational displays, helping your garden become a place of ongoing learning for children, educators, and visitors.
If desired, we can also run a planting session with children, educators, or families. These sessions are hands-on, engaging, and deeply rewarding. Participants learn how each plant supports the environment while discovering the cultural stories and uses that make native species so special.
